We cleaned this out, sealed it with Caswell, and then repainted it to match the OEM scheme. We blended the red onto the side covers to help melt the color together, then re-cleared them, also.

These tanks just don't exist any longer they are so rare! This one was sent to us by a customer in NC. It had pinholes and rust, and the paint was in poor shape. We matched up the OEM colors, stripped it inside and out, lined it with Caswell, pressure tested it, and then did the paint & bodywork. The HONDA word/wing decal was provided to us by AFE Graphics, and was outstanding quality. We applied it as part of the paint job, then sprayed multiple coats of urethane clear over everything.

One of three identical tanks for a customer from Nebraska. He sent these aluminum tanks to England to be structurally restored and to have the aluminum polished. Not wanting to change the look of the aluminum, but asking to have the entire thing protected by urethane clear, he sent it in to us for decal application, green and black striping, and overall clear coating.

This custom paint set for the CB750 will be traveling with us to shows across the east coast, and will eventually be FOR SALE! We used a heavy red metal flake, along with a beautiful gold/black color combo (all paint, no tape or decals!) on this gorgeous paint set! The tank was cleaned and lined with Caswell, the chrome strips were removed from the bottom of the tank, and new repo side covers and emblems were applied. Contact us with more questions.

This customer's original tank had rusted through. He purchased a used tank, but it was the wrong color. We cleaned it internally, sealed it with Caswell, did all the prep and bodywork, then mixed up the colors to match. I had to blend the pearl white on the tank into the pearl white on the side-covers to complete the blend illusion, but it's those little tricks that make the difference! Once the clear dried, it was shipped back to Ohio.

This is an extremely rare and unique motorcycle. The tank was re-chromed, then sent to us for paint. A special technique was utilized to get the paint to stick to new chrome. I'm told there are only 20 of these bikes on the official registry, and the customer trusted BD's Cycles to do the paint work!
